Hi Group,

Can any body give me information on Alerts transport mechanism in XI .

Hi,

<b>Alert Category</b>

Go to menu TRANSPORT in ALRTCATDEF <i>Transport --> Current Alert Category</i> or Transport all alert categories.

You are asked to specify a customizing request.Choose an existing customizing request or create a new one. You can check in transaction SE09, if the category was inserted into the customizing request.

<b>Alert Rules</b>

You may create a transport request by running the report <b>SXMSALERT_CONFIGTRANS.</b>

Hi Swabap,

Alert Categories can be transported as any other standard ABAP items.

But I think, Alert rules need to be created in RWB once again.
