When selecting a datasource I get a read-only icon

Hello. When I am trying to select my datasource that I have retieved from my system I am recieving a read only icon. When I try and place in the window it disappears.

Can anyone help?

Hi,

What version of VC and EP are you using?

Where do you get this read only icon?

As for data sources disappearing when you drag them to the window:

In order to place a data source as part of a model, you'll have to place inside an IView. If you try to place a data source at the model\module level, it will fail and the data source will disappear.
