Publishin Problem - Partitioning by Value

Dear MDM Gurus,

I have a field called say FLD1.It will have either values or no values.

When I do a partition on this field for publishing ( in family mode) it contains values

and NULL where there are no values.

I want to create a layout for FLD1 = value

and a different layout for FLD1 = NULL.

Then I want to propagate the layouts to the entire data hierarchy structure

Kindly let me know how to accomplish this.

Hello Hari,

Currently, you may only propagate down layout properties from a parent node down to its children. There is no way to copy layout from one sibling to another. However, if by "layout", you mean the physical placement of objects on the page, there is functionality (templating) where you may apply (to other nodes or sections) the placement and sizing of each object in the way that you describe.
