Hi all

i m Pavan.

this is my first message to this forum.

m totally new to sap forum

i have a problem with my java program which connects to sap with JCo.

the program extends "JCoIDoc.Server".it connects to to a perticular SAP system, perticular client n will catch all the IDocs release by SAP on a perticular port.

the program used to work as intended till recent times

but now a days its not catching the IDocs and there is not a single line of exception any where.

but JCo is creating an error file with the name

"dev_rfc.trc"

and the description in the file is as follows

        • ERROR file opened at 20050122 135535 IST, SAP-REL 620,0,960 RFC-VER 3 586552 MT-SL

Hi Pavan,

How do you connect to the SAP system. If you are using some user id & password, have you checked the userid/password whether it is still valid or not.

Komal.

hi rani,

thanks for the response

i supply all the connection details(gatewayhost, gatewayservice, programid, clinet, systemnumber, applicationhost, userid, password etc.) to the program which extends "JCoIDoc.Server".

the program is taking care of all the connection establishment details.but still m facing the same problem.

i have also confirmed that the user is a communication user, not a dialogue user.

thanks

pavan

Hi Pawan,

Have you checked RFC logs in SM58. There might be some information on the error.

Regards,

Komal.
