data archiving

I am new in Data archiving..Let me know where the archiving files are stored ..?

Using SARA transaction code i write the file ..the job was schedued and finished..i cannot find the archive files..let me know the exact path where it is storing..?

Hi Seethy,

Check the configuration in Tcode AOBJ - the archiving object. If it is a logical file, call Tcode FILE to view how the logical file is defined.

The archived fies are stored in Global folder..usr/sap/sid
