Hi,

Using table maintenance, U can operate Ur table like INSERT/DELETE...

In the conventional way, U have 2 go 2 SE11 --> Utilities --> Table Contents --> Create entries/Display.

Where as in production/Qty systems, no user can have authorization 2 access T-code SE11.

U have 2 create a table maintenance 2 Ur table, and assign a custom T-code 2 the table. then the authorized people only can access Ur T-code/Table entries.

Steps: 1) SE11, Utilities--> Table maintenance --> give a Authorization Group,

Function group, Package and one step/two step.

save and activate Ur table.

go 2 SE93, give a new T-code, create--> select <b>Transaction with parameters</b>(last radio button).

give Transaction as SM30. in the bottom default values , give the name of the screen field <b>VIEWNAME</b> and <b>Value</b> as Ur custom table.

Now Ur table is ready to access using the custom T-code

Table Maintenance Generator is a tool which is into the ABAP Dic which allows you to generate a program which can be used to maintain entries in a table.

1)Can display the sy-uname when there is entry

2)Can create your own module for checking validation
