Hi all,
I have installed Solution manager 4.0 on Windows 2003 and database MaxDB 7.6.successfully. While updating the support pack level from 6 to 8 the system got hanged due to not enough WP. so i killed WP using task manager.
Later when i restart the SAPMMC console message server, IGS server, enserver working fine but disk+work.exe is running but dialog queue standstill.
All WP status "Run" and start "No".
I restarted application server and database but no change. Please help.
regards,
Sree
Identify the work process which is consuming more memory and kill it using your task manager.

Hello,
First thing I would like to say is never kill the process directly using Task Manager. Memory allocated to that WP might not be freed. If you check the dev_w0 trace file you can find an entry shmget.... (shared memory issue)
1. Stop the R/3 & DB
2. Reboot the host.
3. Start both R/3 & DB
Hope this has resolve your problem.
Regards,
Mathan.
