TP Error code 249

After kernel Update ( NW 2004s) to SP - I have trouble with TP.

tp connect <SID> pf=<Path><TransportProfile> say:

This is tp version 380.40.04 (release 745, unicode enabled)

BTW, I can see that higher SP level is available for TP ver that you currently have. Have you tried updating to latest tp level?

tp is installed as component of support Package 9 for Netweaver 2004s.

Where do I get a higher version?

Hi,

Firstly, try to open a message with SAP about the problem at hand (alongwith information on your current patch level) and see what they say.

To download latest version of the kernel, you can visit service.sap.com/patches -> Entry by Application Group -> Additional Components -> ...

You can download your relevent kernel and SPAM/SAINT updates from there.

eg. if you follow the path

Support Packages and Patches -> Additional Components -> SAP Kernel -> SAP KERNEL 32-BIT UNICODE -> SAP KERNEL 7.00 32-BIT UNICODE -> <OS> -> ...

you can see in Database Independent section that .SAR files are available for higher versions of TP.
