Using Acknowledgements in ABAP Proxies

Hi,

I have a JDBC-XI-ABAP Proxy Scenario.Is it possible to enable acknowledgements when we have a Sender Adapter and a Server Proxy??

Can someone help me with this?

Hi Shabarish,

After going through the thread I understood that acknowledgements are possible when u hav ABAP Proxies on the sender side also.But when u hav an adapter on the sender side(which is supposed to request for the acknowledgent), it is not possible to do this since the sender adapters(of dapter engine) does not support acknowledgemnts.Am I correct?

Yes, this is correct.

No. This is not possible, as the JDBC adapter is not able to request acknowledgements.

yes you can have ack. in ABAp proxies. But they are not available by default. You have to do some settings in PRX_ACK_REQUEST_DETAILS to activate the same. For more details ref the help document page- http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f4/8620c6b58c422c960c53f3ed71b432/frameset.htm

This is only valid, when the sender of the message is an ABAP proxy.
