When we are trying to order a shopping cart we are getting the following error.
<b>No address could be determined for the selection</b> and <b>No Address found for the Partner function type Preferred Vendor</b>. We are filling the Preferred Vendor from the Custom Fields when No Preferred Vendor is given while creating the Shopping cart.Can somebody throw light on what exactly could be the problem.
Please suggest an appropriate solution incase you have encountered such problem before.

Daar Pallavi,
As it is clear that system is not able to find the address of the vendor (BP).
1) You go to web and add address as ship to under administrator> Edit internal addresses.
2) You can go to BP in SRM and for that vendor you can define the address and make it valid for ship-to address.
3) BBPINTMAINT can be used as suggested.

Dear Pallavi
This type of error message is usually encountered when the address for the vendor is not maintained. Log on to the EBP through browser using webadmin rights. Then click on "manage business partners" and search for your preffered business partner. Then edit its data and add the address there and save.

Please check you can edit the prefered vendor in BBPMAININT transaction or "Manage Business partners" via web interface.
