Knowledge of any specific module in XI

do i need to know any modules of SAP to understand XI properly or not?also in interviews for SAP XI developer what kind of questions are asked.

Functional Knowledge can help but it is not necessary to understand XI. Basic EAI knowledge and you can work on XI and become a master in it without any f'nal expertise.

Hi Ahmed Ansari,

no need of having functional module knowledge to learn XI.

if you would have good understanding of SAP system & Java knowledge

then it would be better....

SAP XI is an Integration tool, It is an middle layer as a developer no need to worry much about the functional aspect , Always it is good to have more knowledge on all aspects.
