File Size

Hi Group,

Is there any constraints in XI about the Input File size.Because when I am processing the 48 MB file it giving me the Error.The same scenario working fine with size 5MB or 6Mb .

Can you please suggest how to process the file having huge in size

in xi message size is 2GB(max).but it is possible only without row conversion and performance is optional(correct me if it is wrong).

Hi,

It depends on many parameters.

1) Hardware Sizing- memory settings

2) design approach- did u use BPM, or XSLT mapping? Is the mapping is very complex and deeply nested?

3) are u using File content conversion?

I tried with giving RecordsetperMessage ---5000 ,but still its giving error.

try to follow SAP Note: 723909 and better tune the J2EE.

If don't work try to split your message.

HI ,

I am using Recordsets per Message in the Communication Channel,but still its not processing.Its throwing exception trailer does not exist.

Actually in trailer I have the fields like sum and total number of records .

We had upto 20 MB,

Have a look at this sizing guide, you get the memory calculations, so it is easier for you to deal further on this issue.

Also, Once the size comes into picture, your choice of mapping narrows down (for example, large messages cannot be handled by XSLT mapping, on the basis of performance)If huge data pass into BPM there will be some performance issue.
