Hi abapers,

i m new to abap. i hav a doubt that we say that we hav modified layout set for delivery note by copying standard layout set.

can anyone tell me practically tell me what all we can do in modifying.

frnds its a doubt for me plzz throw some light on this.

when we are discussing about changing the standard form we are besically changeing the standard report as per our requirement.

if you take RVDELNOTE , if we ll try to change something in this standard report we have to convert it into the zprogram than we can change it as per our requirement, somtime we may need to change the logo or some fields .

hi,

Modifications means you can chage the standard layout of the form according to the client specificaitons

like if you want to add your own company logo

adding some extra fileds

adding some more pages like rules and regulations or terms and conditions....................

so there r lot of things you can modify in this way

it depends on your client's requirements.

normally these kind of scenerios can occur :

1. Add new fields to SAPSCript.

2. Add logo to any page

3. Change fonts of the existing fields.

4. Add footer, header, page no etc

Modifying depends on ur requirment.

Suppose u want to fetch some new data which is not there,then u have to use sub routines like this

Mostly when we are modifying we use subroutines for making all new changes.
