I understand that in the mapping properties, I can 'Suppress Unchanged Records'. How does MDM keep track of what records have been changed. Is there a field on each record that gets marked when the record is changed? Does MDM use the "Update Date" to keep track of when a record has been changed? Is it possible to use another TimeStamp field to keep track of changes? If so, how do you tell the syndicator to use a 'custom' field to keep track of changes?
Hi Thomas,
from my experience MDM Syndicator keeps tracking table for syndicated records (data is stored in the underlying database of the repository).
This tracking table contains record version identified (this "internal" identifier is related to record and MDM Server performs update /increment/ on each change). Therefore I assume that it is really difficult to customize "Suppress Unchanged Records" behavior.
