change status of a created PO

Hi SRM Gurus:

I am trying to change the status of PO created.

- when i create a PO in the sourcing cockpit it gets a "ORDERED" Status.

- HELD status can happen if there is an incomplete data (missing vendor) and a PO is created.

- however for our requirement I need it to have a "HELD" status after the PO is created with no missing data. Can anyone suggest what approach I need to use to HOLD my PO at creation.

Hi Raj,

To keep the PO in held just raise a error message from the DOC_CHECK_BADI and PO will go in the HELD status.
