how to create Events in smartforms

I need events creation like sort of begin and sort of end .how can create in smart forms .what are the steps can i follow it .reply me fast .

Hi,

For table or loop,you can create events.

FOr eg.,in Tables,you can in Data tab Event on sort begin and Event of sort end.

Hi Suresh,

1. DOuble click on TABLE or LOOP which ever you are using.

2. Go to DATA TAB (In either case)

3. Enter field name on which sorting is required. You may provide multiple sorting

sorting criteria

4. Select sorting types, ascending or descending by selecting the radio button next to field name field

5. Next is to select the event when you want the sort to happen either

<b>EVENT ON SORT BEGIN</b> or

<b>EVENT ON SORT END </b> or

<b>both the above event</b>.

6. Checking the boxes will add extra node for your table / loop..

Thats all your events are created..Now you can proceed with you rest of logic..

Hi Suresh,

In order to make a sort statement in a Smartform you need to create a Loop, then you have to go to the data tab, at the botton you can see the sort criteria, in there you can specify the field in which you want the event, it could be Event on Sort Begin or Event on Sort End.
