Smartform Output

Hi All,

To get the output of smartform in a PDF i was calling CONVERT_OTF .

Now my client has a new requirement to get the output in Binary .

This output will then help the portals team to show the layout on Site.

Is this possible and how ?

Hello Sreedhar,

Are you trying to get the output in xml? If so, it can be done through Smartforms.Please let me know if are in 4.6c or ECC 6.0 so that I can send you the code.

Thanks for replying Kalyan . We are on 4.6 C. I found yesterday that CONVERT_OTF has a new import parameter as BIN_FILE which send back the output in Binary .

I need this so that the Portals could then convert ans show it on Front End Web.

Unfortunately this new import parameter is available for Higher versions of SAP and not in 4.6

Could anyone let me know how could this be achieved in 4.6

does the CONVER_OTF store the smart form output in any table as BLOB ?

or is there any way of getting the output in Binary in 4.6C
