in a certain region (an open sapgui windows) and even if the current app is a fullscreen excel, you are locked up. One known solution alt + escape one time or two.

who knows what it should be and the solution (had it on XP and NT4).

Hi Didier,

as your previous post this also sounds like a bug that should be reported in OSS. There may be many reasons why a system becomes inresponsive, but I assume your problem only occurs when you run SAP GUI. So the GUI team should take a look at it.

If you can provide steps to reproduce the problem in OSS, even better.

frankly I don't know how to report an OSS bug and I don't know if I am allowed to. Do I need to be certified? and if yes what courses need to be done?

your company has a support agreement with SAP, that's all that is required. Your Basis team should know the details.
