As far as I know you must do that during design time. You cannot dynamically resize the window during runtime.

If I understand your question, then you have to resize the size of your iView, therefore you have to change to the layout board.

A better way to handle popups, is that you put your iView in another iView as nested iView. The other iView, which contains the nested iView, you can make bigger, then the popup are displayed over the border of the parent iView.
