Hi,
I'm trying to use Business Activity Monitor (BAM) to trigger XI scenario execution (as described by Michal here /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2006/11/06/xi-bam--episode-i--introduction)
But before using message proxy I'd like to test triggering BAM Alerts for certain BO events. The alert category I'm using is already tested and it works with my own XI processes. However, I'm unnable to see the same alert triggered for USER.cloned and USER.created events (i.e. I cannot see alert in my inbox). I try both creating/editing users via SU01 and via corresponding BAPI execution. Does not work in either case.
What could be the reason?
Thanks,

hi,
1. do you need to use the user?
(I check on my system and this event (user) also doesn't work)
2. if not try with material or sales order or PO
these I've used and there were no problems with them
Regards,
michal

Michal,
Thanks for reply.
Unfortunately, triggering process for USER creation/change is an application requirement :). Actually, the whole task can be described as "poor man MDM"
Do you know other ways to track these events besides BAM?

Michal,
Thanks for tip.
Yes, in fact when event generated via SWUE everything works as expected. So the most probable reason is that aforementioned events is never fired by USER business methods
Btw, are there any way to track change documents for user in a way similar to tracking events? I've noticed that at least for user creation/deletion corresponding change documents are created...
