No cost center could be determined for organizational unit 00000000

Hi experts,

I came across this error while carrying out the Calculate costs function.

Please help me in this regard.

hi anand,

honestly speaking i am not completely sure. since the internal order has been created, i assume the problem must be in the cost calculation.

there the organizational unit is used to determine the rate to be used for the calculation

a) either the cost per unit, which you have maintained in cProjects

b) or the costs according to the cost center / activity type combination

furthermore it should also be used to get the cost center which is credited in cost center accounting

therefore i think you need to focus on that. e.g. something in the cost rate customizing might not be ok. or maybe the system cannot get the cost center from the organizational unit in HR. did you maintain one there?

a) has the internal order been created? Please check in R/3.

b) Have you maintained an organizational unit in the cProject?

c) Have you defined cost/revenue rates in customizing?

Hi,

1. you try giving the organization until as you find in the InternalOrder.

2. You try assiging the project type & project profile numbers correctly.

3. clear all the invalid queue items in SMQ1 and SMQ2

There is missing cost ctr in your work order. or no cost ctr assigned tour your technical object. Please check

hi ketan,

we are using cprojects 3.1, we have already assigned cost center in internal order.

where we have to assign the cost center again, can u elaborate on this matter.

in brief we have created a small project with resource assignment and the internal order CPR1 which includes the req cost centre and resp cost centre. While calculate cost tab is activated the messages log contains this error.

Please help in this regard
