Hi,
I heard that for developing applications in web-dynproABAP and deploying them on to portal needs NW04S.is it True?
NW04S uses both java and ABAP stack, but NW4 uses only java stack, does it confirm that WDA can not be used in this scenario.

Hi Rani,
WebDynpro for ABAP definitely requires a NW2004s ABAP stack (NW AS ABAP 7.0). I can't see a reason why you can't integrate such a WD ABAP application into an EP 6.0 SP10 system though - it would appear as any other web application to the portal.
Of course I've not tried this, but I can't see why it shouldn't work.

Hi Michael,
I mean to say if it requires ABAP stack, how will it be able to run on Java Stack(NW04sp10).
If yes how can i do it.Do i need to create abap application in NDS and deploy it in portal through WD iview, but where that ABAP code would be running,in portal or WAS java and How?
