Certificate Management in XI (Large volume of certificates)

We have approximately 800 accounts which we need to create on Xi. Each one of these accounts needs to have a certificate associated with it in STRUST

1.

Is there a any function that will us to create user accounts in SAP with the required auths and user information by import (from a CSV file or suchlike)

2.

Is there any function that we can import certificates from a file containing the path to the certificate file and the user to assign it to.

3. In STRUST the certificates that are on the system are listed in a non searchable, non sortable way. We need to remove around 15 - 20 of these certificates per week. Is there any other method or transaction we can use to manage the client certificates.

If you have to manage the users and theirs certificates frequently, the suggestion is to evaluate the use of an LDAP and connect SAP intance to it for the authentication.

Anyway for the massive you can use the transaction SHDB, recording the user creation, and than attaching the CSV file to the recording. It´s a standard SAP functionality created for such cases like your.

We are very grateful for your response and will certainly explore the use of SHDB for the creation process. One of our concerns is that we have 800+ accounts for which we wish to manage certificates on a daily basis.

.

We need to be able to find an existing certificate by account number (e.g. 112233)and remove it. STRUST does not seem to provide any searching or sorting facility. Do you know of any?
