Custom field in shopping cart Item Overview - items in Shopping Cart tab

Hi all,

I need to add a custom field to be added to the Shopping Cart Item Overview where we enter the free text items( Items in Shopping Cart' tab ). I could see that it is a table control ,from transaction BBPSC01. So I need to know the best method to add the custom field and also make it appear in the ITS.
