I know how to develop a Web dynpro application in the NWDS ,

but is it possible to change a .par file or deploy a webdynpro application without the NWDS?

If it is possible can you tell me how I will be able to change in a .par file of the standard ESS package without the NWDS and then deploy it ?

Hi,

Refer to note 872892 on how to adjust xss sources.

Do not modify the sources directly and try to redeploy them.

I am not sure about par but you can take the archive and then deploy it using the SDM. This should deploy the applicaiton.
