I am new to SAP.when i am instaling SAP IDES which path shall i select from CD for JAVA installation.

Hello,

I'm not sure what exactly you are doing, but what I'm getting is that you are trying to Install SAP server, but the instalation cant't procede, because you do not have JVM, is that right?

If it is so you should:

1.download JVM from www.sun.com

2.start the setup.exe on your disk.

If that is not what you are asking, please explain in more details.

There is a complete doc on your CD, how to install and work with Java(TM) EE 5 Server.

From your disk folder start "start.exe" and it will lead you through the process.

Can you explain in more details what you are trying to install? To my knowledge, IDES (Internet Demonstration and Evaluation System) is an SAP model company.

I am going to install SAP on new server.for this i need to install JAVA.from JAVA CD which path can i select to install that JAVA.
