Hi Gurus,
I have a problem about the WorkFlow setting in SRM server 5.5.
To use WF function, I have customized WF :
1.Maintain prefix numbers
2.Maintain Standard Settings for SAP Business Workflow
3.Activate Standard Tasks
4.Perform Task-Specific Customizing
- I configured the WS10000060
- I configured the WS10000129
5.Define Conditions for Starting Workflows
6.Maintain Org
- Assign user (manager role) to org
- Assign user (employee role) to org
When I create the Shopping Cart , and Click on "Approval Preview", before save the document, I see correctly Manager Approver.
But when I "Order" the Shopping Cart and i go in the "Check Status", I see, in the detail "Appproval", this error message:
"No workflow started. Application error occured".
In the TCODE SWI1 the workitem is in status ERROR. The step history take back an error when processing node '0000000007' (ParForEach index 000000).
Can you help me.
Best Regard.
Max Bertolini
hi,
The workflow WS10000060 is linked to a reviewer workflow WS10000265.
It may be the case that no active versions of this workflow exist in
your system.
In transaction SWDD select other WF-Definition = WS10000265.
This should activate version 0000
- Create new version - (activate version 0001)
- menu Workflow >Activation >Generate and activate runtime version
- Transaction SWUS
Workflow: WS10000265
Click on Button Refresh Organizational Environment
Synchronize the runtime buffers with transaction SWU_OBUF.
Kindly then retest the workflow WS10000265 to see if it is now ok.
You can do this by the following steps :
1. Transaction SWUD
2. enter workflow WS10000265, press enter
3. execute 'Test environment'
4. check 'Including subworkflows'
5. execute 'Consistency check for components'
If there are no errors then please do the same for workflow WS10000060.
If there are no errors for this workflow either then the problem
should be resolved.

Disha.
Pls reward points for useful answers.

We are also facing the same problem ,however when we check the step history(SWI1) we can find that the workflow is stuck up due "Error when processing node '0000000241' (ParForEach index 000000)". Could not make ou any thing. We followed the same steps mentioned earlier in this thread..
Thanks
Hi,
I am not an expert but i can tell you where I looked for similar errors.
First I check what is that node from Workflow Builder SWDD, enter the WS and see the steps on the left of the screen. (eg. WS100000060, step 241: Event Handling in the Component). Then when you double click you can see which WS or TS it is attached (eg. WS1000000049 for the above workflow) and try to analyze that workflow. Also use SWUS to test and then check the logs. Also the technical details.
Sorry for little help

Hi Max,
I have experienced the same problem.
i have checked through the transaction swi1 later i found that the workflow
ws10000049 should be changed as general task.
I think it will work for.
But i am experiencing later another problem that my PO is waiting for approval.
with regards,
Mahesh

Hi Max,
i will suggest you to go in your workflow log and go in that particular task.
go inside the container and see the details.
click on error message, you will find the reason behind the error.
may be there is some error in Badi implemented or, in some method.. if you have implemented.
just go inside the log and see the detail error message.
if possible please provide the error message you are getting in workflow log. it will help to resolve the issue.
Regards,
Shastri.
