hello,
i have to set the expiring period of the user password, because as of now, the time it's too short
There is a parameter to edit, or a tcode to modify?
thanks
hi teck,
i hope the following info would help u solving ur question...use the profile RZ10 to change the parameters...
i will explain it in steps...
"login/password_expiration_time"
the above given parameter defines the validity period of passwords in days..
the default value is 0 and the permissible values are any numerical value...
the steps are:
1. call Transaction RZ10..
2. specify the name of the profile whose parameters you want to change in the profile field
3. if you want to change the name of the file in which the profile should be activated, check Administration data and choose Change.
4.Choose the profile parameter given above to select the password expiry...
Once you have made the changes, choose Copy.
5. You can create, change or delete all parameters in a profile by choosing Extended maintenance.
8. Once you have made the changes, choose Copy.
kindly note that only versions of an old profile exists...no new profiles are created a such...they re just copied from the past existing wuth the necessary changes...
let me know ur concerns...
