file system to create in SLD or not ??

Hi XI Friends..

I am doing file to rfc scenario...i have to pick files from fileserver..for that i am using ftp connection ..my doubt is ..is that filesystem need to create as BusinesService or BusinesSystem in SLD or not??

please guide me..

Hi,

You can craete a Business System of third party type in the SLD or you can use a Business Service as well.

For business service you would need to assign the message interface explicitly to the message interfaces.

yes.

You create it only in directory. Righ Click on Business Service on Service an Partner

You can use both.

A Business System in SLD or as Business Service without SLD.

If it's not on your well known machine, please use Business Service. You don't have to register it in SLD.
