Query regarding supplier bids

Hi,

Can anyone confirm the following ??

There is no provision in SRM for suppliers to add items in addition to those proposed in the Bid invitation.

I do remember that there is an option in the bid invitation to allow supplier to add items in their bid in addition to those proposed par the purchaser in the bid invitation.

i do not have right now a system to check... if anybody could confirm the above statement...

Hi,

I've checked bid invitation for supplier in SRM 3.0.

Supplier in 'create bid' may change following things:

- add vendor product number

- change quantity, price, price unit of product

- add notes and attachments to bid invitation

I don't chave newer SRM system than 3.0 right now and I can't confirm Yann's post.

I have checked in the online help and yes it is an option to define in the bid invitation.

Hello All,

Thanks a lot for replying back. Yes, there is an option in Bid invitation screen itself.

Bidder can Add items (checkbox) . If this is checked bidders can add items.
