Hi,

I'm trying to install SAP Web Application Server Java 6.40 SP9 (J2EE Engine) and MaxDB 7.5 on my computer which runs MiniSap.

During installation I recieve an error message.

I am installing JAVA ADD-IN FOR ABAP in HP11-64 with java 1.5.0.02 version and I got the following error:

...JDKVersion.xml should be defined.

Any ideas, please.

Hi,

Just check for the file JDKVersion.xml in the DVD

directory J2EE_OSINDEP/J2EE_ENG, or the J2EE Engine DVD.

Maybe that a SAR file is missing or the medias are not

mounted correctly.

Also check your JDK version(Note 716926) and the

JAVA_HOME environment variables.

If not already solved, you can share your <drive>:\usr\sap folder with the name saploc. It may work.

Check your environment variables and ensure that they are all configured correctly and not containing any illegal characters (looks like the install is complaining about the " character). Make sure each of the variables are separated with a ; and also check that you have set your Java_Home variable according to the documentation and providing this correct path to jdk in the installation.

Thanks for your replay,

I deleted all illegal characters and start the installation.

after a while I recieved an error message:

Restart your machine ine safe mode and manually delete all 'SAP' and 'X-server' entries. Tiest
