Server Swap releated question

Hello All,

One of the application server was swapped with new hardware in production. Before the actual swap , i brought SAP up and see if everything is working well. The environment is SAP R/3 4.6B installed on oracle 8.1.7.4. So the new application server is displayed in st03 transaction as inactive instance. How to remove it.

Also performance collector jobs display in system log(SM21): NI Connect error as follows:

S0T NiConnect Unsuccessful, Return Code: -0012

S0R > Host: <instancename>

S0S > Service: sapgw01

How to stop this entry?

The type is specified as "RD" not DIA or BTC.

Can anyone help me with this?
