Bugseye quick search does not function

Hi,

We BugsEye 3.5.84.6 and when we try try to do a quick search we get the followong error :

Error writing to servlet

null

java.lang.NullPointerException

at com.requisite.bugsi.engine.ViewConstraint.getOptimizerConstraint(ViewConstraint.java:167)

Does anyone have an idea about this problem?

Thank you for your reponse.

I alreday rebuild policies.

Each time I do a search or I edit a view I get this error.

What do you mean by Indexing job ?

Since the admin change an attribute from numeric to alphanumeric we have a lof of trouble.

If we delete and recreate a Common Attribute, is there some kind of extra configuration that needs to be done?

Hi Amyay,

Have you added the attributes which was changed in your policies to be rebuild.

Please look at the Requisite documentaion using OSS Note 379221.

It was from some of this documentation that basis guys created some script and scheduled it every 15 Min . May be it was specific to our version and ORACLE release .

Hi Amyay,

Please check there is an indexing job that need to be scheduled in requisite is working properly after every catalog upload .

Also try rebuiliding yuour policies , may be it will work after that !!
