PA 40 from CUA

Hi

We are in process of implementing SAP CUA for managing user admin centrally for all our sap systems.

currently when users are created we follow a 4 step process which looks more or less like

1) create personnel record - PA40

2) set password expiry - HRUSER

3) ZREFUSER - custom abap code that creates SAP login user based on some parameters like if the users is full time emp / consultant / developer etc and assign requested roles

4) enable roles in usermaster through SU01

we have another abap code that executes all the above 4 transactions as batch upload of users in usermaster.

I understand is that CUA will be able to execute all user management related commands like SU01 and even my custom ABAP code to generate and create a user. But will I be able to execute PA40 and HRUSER transaction as a part of batch program from the CUA servers.

Hi harsha,

CUA should not cause any issues with HRUSER and PA40.

They should work fine.
