Error in NW2004s SR1 installation MAXDB problem

Hello,

I'm installing NW S004s SR1 in Windows 2003, MAXDB 7.6.0 Build 18, and in phase 25(Import MAXDB statistics) of 50 I'm getting the following error:

ERROR 2006-11-14 09:31:08

CJS-00030 Assertion failed: ExecuteUpdateStatistics: The update statistics failed. Check logfile XCMDOUT.LOG.

In the logfile XCMDOUT.LOG everything is ok except the last part where I get an error:

> Subprocess starts at 20061114120211

Execute Command : e:\sapdb\programs\pgm\dbmcli.exe -n adita -d PRO -u control,********

Execute Session Command : sql_updatestat SAPPRO.*

> Subprocess stops at 20061114121641

ERR

-24988,ERR_SQL: Sql error

-9407,System error: unexpected error

9,Aborting statistics computation due to system error

42,Error while collecting statistics for table 00000000000029ad; error illegal_key

I searched SAP Notes but I didn't found something helpful. On the SAP marketplace this version of MAXDB is the latest one.

Do you have any clue about this error?

Thanks.

Hello Adrian,

this is a known error in your MAXDB build, and is documented in the MAXDB PTS system as message # 1140299.

Ignore the system error for now. The statistics will be updated, but the corresponding entries in SYSUPDSTATLOG will be missing. The error is fixed in 76.00.22.

Thanks, I updated to MAXDB 7.6.0 Build 34 and I restart the SAPinst. Now it's ok.

I couldn't ignore the previous error so I had to upgrade the MAXDB.
