Install Java

Hi All;

I installed ecc6 for ABAP part only.

but now i want to install Java also.

How to proceed.

Please help.

Hi Tushar,

Please check the SAP NetWeaver 2004s installation master guide (http://service.sap.com/instguides). It should also be covered in the mySAP ERP 2005 master guide if you are installing XSS.

SAP Java installation will happen only if u configure a client in ABAP stack.This is needed because Java needs to communicate with the ABAP stack.

Since u completed the installation of ABAP stack, create a client and then start with the SAPinst screen and proceed for JAVA installation.The next screen you'll find is a client and user name...then u can proceed.

Hello Tushar,

You need to do a JAVA addon on exisitng ABAP installation. Use Master Installation DVD and Java DVD for this purpose. You may need kernel DVD for this.
