You find everything you need here in SDN. Download the NetWeaver Developer Studio / Web Application Server Sneak Preview. Then you have the development environment for Web Dynpro / Java.

See Developer Areas -> Web Application Server -> Web Dynpro

and <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/developerareas/webdynpro.sdn?page=getstart_webdynpro.htm">https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/developerareas/webdynpro.sdn?page=getstart_webdynpro.htm</a>

This there any other way so that I can do it on Eclipse? I have download the Netweaver demo but I do not have enough RAM to install the demo. And I have start Eclipse but there is no project category web dynpro. Thanks.

Hi Conrad,

no, you need NWDS to develop WebDynpro Apps. No other way. NWDS in the end is Eclipse - some features + many new SAP features / plugins. You will need the same NWDS version as the J2EE engine you want to develop against. And for SAP J2EE development purposes, less than 1 GB does not make sense. If you want to have a runtime environment at your dev engine too, it should be 1.5 GB, better 2.

Hope it helps
