Hi guys,
Please help me out.
I have a Web Dynpro project that I would like to break this project into several small DC's ( i'm trying to experiment DC's without NWDI) . In fact, what I tried is to convert old WD project into a single DC and then take the latter for breaking into smaller DC's.
Here are the steps I intend to do :
1) Create a single DC (type WD) and try to copy WD components from old WD project using copy and paste
2) Try to copy models used in old WD project to new DC
3) Several small DC will be decomposed from the newly created DC
My questions :
1) Did I go in the right direction?? if not, please tell me how
2) Is there a way to copy models created from old WD projet into models of newly projet instead of recreate models from scratch??
Thanks a lot in advance guys
Ralph
Create a new Webdynpro DC in NWDS, Go to webdynpro perspectives Navigator View, Expand the old project node > src > packages > com right click on com, copy the whole folder and paste it on the same path in the new DC (in Navigator view), similarly copy everything from the old project node > model folder > src > packages > com and paste at the same node in new DC. Now go webdynpro explorer view right click on the DC and select the option Reload and Rebuild.
You are done. Deploy and run the application.
Thanks & Peace
