chart and dates on x-axis

Hi all,

I would like to create a line chart with dates (i.E. 01.12.2006) on the x-axis so that the time distance between the values will be displayed in the chart.

For example I want to show that on the 01.10.2006 there are 5 orders, on the 02.10.2006 there are 10 orders and on the 15.10.2006 there are 2 orders.

The diagramm should show the first two values close together and the third value with the distance of 13 days between.

Does anybody know if there is a setting to use or even if it is possible or not.

Currently you are very limited in formatting charts in VC.

For your case you would need also values for your days from 3.10-14.10. to make something like this happen, even if those are just dummies. But as far as I remember, the same is true in MS Excel.

thanks for your quick reply - but in Excel this works as described choosing the line-chart type.

Aha, OK. But alas not in VC. There is currently no setting for this.
