Does MDM support mass creation of Master Data - as we normally have to do during new implementations and roll outs?

Hi Hari,

Import Manager[manual] would be perfect solution for this scenario, where we can have different types of source systems like Excel, XML, XML schema,Access,ODBC,SQL Server and so.

Hi,

During the initial roll out, you can use the Import manager ( in all possible ways) to upload the data into MDM. During importing, de duplication is taken care of.

Once uploaded into the system, you can use the matching mode for further checking duplicates.

Hi Hari,

You can do mass data upload in MDM also. This can be done by Import Manager (Manual) or Import Server Automatic or Import Server Batch.

But for initial load it is better to use Import Manager Manual.
