Invalid or corrupt jarfile

I downloaded the NetWeaver file, SAPNWAS_JAVAEE5_T06.rar, when I try to open it it just says invalid or corrupt jarfile. I downloaded it two more times and got the same message each time.

I have a windows xp operating system on a Toshiba a105 satilite laptop.

Thanks in advance for any information to help remedy my little problem.

Hello Michael,

here are couple of suggestions from my side:

1. Check if your WInRar version is not too old by chance. My WinRAR is V3.51 and I managed to unpack the archive successfully.

2. Another possibility is that the rar archive was not correctly downloaded the first time when you tried and it is still in the cache of your proxy or in the Temporary Internet files of your machine. Thus, when you try to download it again it is actualy being taken from the same temp folder where it is already broken.

Possible solution would be deleting all the temp internet files.

I did not know I needed Winrar. I found where to download it.
