diferen time betwen SAP EBP and Live auction cokcpit

dear all,

We have some problem diference time in Live Auction Cockpit between SAP EBP.in our SAP EBP server we set UTC+7 ,but the display time in live

Auction Cockpit is not similar between the SAP EBP.

any way we aleardy deploy the SAP Note : 887351 Time Zone of Chat

Message, and Note: 888153 Update Time Zone of Chat Message

but the time zone is still not similar between SAP EBP and SAP LAC

my current system is : SAP LAC 1.0 including Patch level 7 (LACWPS1000P_7-10002208.SAR.

there is any config in SAP Live auction Cockpit to set the time ?? pls can you help me

is verry urgent !!

Hi,

I have the same problem. I fix it by changing in control panel\date\time\timezone to UTC+7.

any way configuration on my Operation system Windows 2000 and i aleardy set the time to GMT+7 , but still not working ..

Hi,

Try to change (in OS) time to eg. CET, apply settings and re-run Live Auction Cockpit.

Check if Your date and time has hange. Then change it back to GMT+7.

I know it is very strange but this works for me.

i already try to change time in OS, but still not working ..:-(

marcin, usually time in cockpit is refer time on SAP EBP or Time on OS ?

Hi Echo,

In my system time in cockpit is time OS.

Check also in Your Application server OS and LAC J2EE server for OS time.

Check in SU01 for Your user in tab Defaults Personal Time Zone.

i think time on Live Auction Cockpit 1.0 in our system using time on JDK or J2ee,

this is only my assumption hehehheee.. ,

any way there is any tools or command to get time_zone on Java JDK and J2ee ?

and other question in LAC 1.0 is only Support JDK.1.3.1_06 ?

solution for time zone GMT+07. :

start --> Setting --> Control Panel --> JAVA Plug-in Control Panel

klik on Basic --> add new parameter on " Java Runtime Parameters " with :

<b>Add -Duser.timezone=GMT+07</b>

<b>this parameter also config for all workstation in Live Auction Front End .</b>
