Hello,
I want to do remote client copy from PRD to DEV system,
But the problem is in my scenario is we have some modules i.e.Transfer pricing..etc are configured in PRD which are not in DEV system.
If i do the remote client copy then how the SAP system behaves means the changes which are adopted in PRD server would be reflected in DEV server.
or
Is there any process/method to choose what changes do we want to migrate.
Please reply....!!!

Hello, good days
Programed the Remote Client Copy from the SCC9 and it has been cancelled, I you attach the steps that I have followed(continued) and the mistake that gives me in the log is the following one:
ETA267 Copy process "00001" was terminated after user cancellation.
This is a summary of what I have done for the copy:
- create logical system from the BD54 and to associate it with the destination(destiny) RFC (from Quality to Productive).
- create destination(destiny) RFC of Quality to Productively (conection test = Ok and remote logon = OK)
- create new client in Quality (SCC4) and logon with the user SAP*
and launch the copy from SCC9:
I miss something to do????
Whats wrong?
Tanks
Víctor

Hi Victor,
Check in your RFC connection what user you are using to login in the remote client. Try to set the password for the user there, sometimes this kind of remote client copy failed because of the user connection.
Check the SCC3 transaction to see a detail log, if it was really a user cancellation or there is something else you need to verify.
Good luck.
Hi Arshad,
for u compare two clients from two diffrent systems ,
u can run program >> RSCLICHK to find the tables against target client through Tcode SE38 , and u can proceed client copy by running one more program RSCLCCOP as a background
This may serve ur purpose , and let me know the status
Thanks & Regards

Hi Ravi Kumar,
I was just browsing thru few postings for Remote Client Copy and came across your reply..
I found it very helpful and was seeking more information and help on this posting for Remote Client Copy
A lil history..
We had a plan for a remote client copy but we are facing some DDIC mismatch and we had a huge list of tables missing on the TARGET system (DEV server) after the TEST RUN...
We planned it from PRD 009 to DEV 009
Now can you please detail me about how to overcome these type of errors...
And How best can we use the programs...
RSCLICHK
RSCLCCOP...
Does the RSCLICHK help me overcome DDIC mismatch errors, after running this will it copy the missing tables to the target system (DEV server).
And what is the sequence of execution for the 2 programs is it that we need to run RSCLCCOP first or RSCLICHK..
Also i understand that RSCLCCOP is nothing but SCC9.
Please help me...
We have scheduled the Remote Client Copy on Saturday.
I have already awarded points for this reply...
Will do more after ur reply..
Thanks a million...In advance
Regards
