Request of Transport

Hi people.

I have correctly extract a Transport Request froma my SAP System, burn it on DVD and now i want to load to another system this request from CD. How i can do it?

I want to manage in the new PC with the transaction STMS this request taked from my DVD. Can I and How? Full point for right answer

Hi Massimiliano,

What exactly have you burned to the DVD ?

A transport consists of two files, the cofile and the datafile. In a standard installation you find the cofile in the directory /usr/sap/trans/cofiles and the datafile in the dirctory /usr/sap/trans/data. You need to copy these files to the same directories on your target system. Once you have copied them there, you go to STMS on the target system. Select the system into which the request should be imported, select Extras -> Other Requests -> Add. Enter the transport and the target client in the dialog window and press Enter. The request should now be included in the import queue, and you can import it as normal.
