how to configure sender mail adapter

Hi,

My scenario Mail-XI-file. In adapter monitoring it is giving me error "not initialized: mail agent null". What do we exactly mean by this??

and can anyone suggest any blog as how to configure sender mail adapter.

I have already gone through the links that you have sent to me..

actually I am facing problem to trigger mail to send it to XI, as it is giving me error <b>not initialized</b>.

Hi Anu,

The mail server that you use must have relay access enable to send/receive mails through SAP.

You can download any freeware Mail Server (like Ocean Mail Server), and check if your scenario works with that or not.

Also check if the port that you have mentioned is free or not, by using Telnet on that server and port.
