No service for system X client Y in the integration directory

Hi guys and gurus,

I've struggling with the following case for a couple of months (!!) and still I can not make it. I have to say that I am coming from the MM modules but trying to set up a ICH demo by myself during my spare time.

I send an idoc from R/3 to XI using program RSMIPROACT and I get message No service for system SAPR3I, client 800 in Integration directory. Even though, idoc has status 03 (Outbox).

- I have created a technical and business system.

- Connections work properly in SM59

- Port XIDOCPORT with RFC XIDCLNT100 maintained txn WE21

- Partner XIDCLNT100 (LS) with Outbound parameter:

Idoc name - Port created. txn WE20.

- IDX1 maintained in XI system.

Is there something missing?

This is my first post but points rewarded if somebody takes me out of this hole.

Thanks,

Ivan.

Hi Sekhar,

Technical and Business system is created as WEB AS ABAP.

I don't get second part... "use this business system for source system in XI".

Could you explain me a little bit more?

Hi ,

Assign your bussiness system to objects tab in ID and activate the same and try .
