What's exactly is "Workplace"?

Hi all, here's a simple question...

What exactly is the Workplace?

Is a SAP's package to install?

Which components/tools/utilities are inside this workplace?

I suppose this is available in Netweaver 2004s platform...

I want to install some software in my team's pcs (NWDS, Portal, KM,...) and maybe installing this workplace I succeded..

I've search in sdn and can't find relevant information...

did u mean Business Workplace (BC-SRV-GBT)?

its a pdf file on...single sign-on in the my.sap business workplace...u could know something about workplace..my.sap business workplace provides an intranet portal that gives users access to a variety of services and information...
