user mapping EP and ecc6.o

Hi,

I have installed netweaver on usage types java,ep

And applied ess/mss business packages to the system and also established the connection with ecc6.0

Now my queries are

1)Where can i get the changes after applying ess/mss bp(on portal page please mention navigation)

2)How can I create user in portal and how can I assign role to him(which role should I have to give)

3)How can I integrate the user of ep with ecc system please give me procedure

4)In my backend connection I have given the connectivity to our development client(is it right or wrong,if wrong for which client should i need to give the connection)

Please go through my queries and your help would be more appreciable

Hi,

In EP goto System Admin menu, you will find menu option (User Management ) to create a new user.

3. Integrate the user of ep with ecc system please give me procedure

a) Export the certificate from EP (System Admin -> System config -> Keystore config -> verify.der (download this file)

b) Import the certificate to SAP ECC (tcode - STRUSTSS02)

Certificate -> import -> verify.der

1. Add to certificate list (PSE)

2. Add to ACL list - System ID and Client(000) (EP Sysetm's)

c) FOr single sing-On change the profile parameter in R/3

login/accept_ss02_ticket = 1

login/create_ss02_ticket = 2

d) Create new SAP system in EP

provide system details - System Name, System Id, WAS Parameters of R/3 system

4. In User Management you can decide the

a) logon method - SAPLogin Ticket

b) User Mapping type - Admin, user
