Good morning,
next month we will get a new network. In case of this we have to change the IP-addresses of the APO LiveCache (MaxDB) and the associated applicatio server. The names and instances will stay the same as well as the database server. Did you know what configuration we have to change, except the configuration of the networkcard.

Hi Thomas,
as far as the communication between SAP and liveCache is concerned: All that happens by host name.
- Connect data for SQL requests is stored in the DBCON table (transaction DBCO).
- CCMS may use that too (central authorization), or it can be configured by instance in LC10.
But both mechanisms use host names. Same is true for the rest of the SAP application server technology.
I would assume that the same is true for liveCache in itself, but I do not know that for sure. You may want to try posting a question to the MaxDB forum.
Best regards,
Dorothea
