Error in receiver mail adapter

Hi,

i am working with file to mail scenario.

I have two files.The second file i am sending as an attachment with the first file.

My receiver communication channel has following error::

error occured: [2006-11-08T07:35:08Z] unable to call the mailer; com.sap.aii.messaging.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.io.IOException: server not responding OK to RCPT TO; 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for nilima.rodrigues@XXXXXXXX.com

Please provide some help on it.

Hi,

If you are getting the <b>"server not responding OK to RCPT TO"</b> error message,

it means the outgoing mail server cannot verify who you are and will not allow you to send mail.

If you connect to the mail server for "domain.com" it may only allow you to send mail that is from "username@domain.com".

But if you try to send from another account and have the return address of "username@anotherdomain.com" it may restrict you from relaying to another server.

U can test with some other mail domain.

It might help.

this means that your user does not have

autorization to send messages with that e-mail server

it's not a connection issue as you connect to mail server properly

check your account on this server

did you use your credentials in receiver mail adapter?

(in send <b>from</b>)

Hi Nilima,

As the error says channel was not possible to contact the mailing server. Check whether the mailing server is up and running or not. Which server are you using? Try ocean server, and which mode are you using for connecting?

Hi,

First try during a simple scenario.

check whether you are able to connect to your mail server from XI.

Check the configuration details of the receiver mail adapter.

it is not the case I believe as "unable to relay" is

an answer from the mail server

Hi,

Now i am getting the emailat my email id.

But when i try to open the file,it displays the following contents::

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

The second file is an image file(.jpg).

Filename is appearing but when i open it ,it says 'No preview available.'

Please provide some help on it.
